October 9, 2008 at Glen Echo Country Club President's Cup Up For Grabs - Sunset Hill's To Defend. Let the rivalry continue. Which of the Country Club President Association member clubs will take home the honors. The October meeting of the CCPA has always been fun filled. No business to speak of... just a general update on St. Louis golf, some local gossip and to the buffet. The fun day is then capped off with the "President's Cup" golf tournament. An interclub competition between all the CCPA member clubs including host club Glen Echo- St. Albans-Greenbriar-Sunset-Norwood-Westborough-Forest Hills-Legends-Meadowbrook-Lake Forest-Bogey Hills-Lockhaven-St. Clair-Whitmoor and defending "Cup" holders Sunset Hills. Format is Two Net Best Balls. So load up all the sand baggers you can muster from your board and management team. All are invited to play. For sure, each club needs representation of one Foursome or more. The more the better. Get your foursome together and get registered. Mr. Coe is a past president of Glen Echo Country Club and a member since 1980. He currently sits on the greens committee and remains an active golf member in the St. Louis country club fraternity. Employed as an Executive Vice President for Commercial Loans at First National Bank. Mr. Coe has served the St. Louis financial market for 40 years. Mr. Coe is a graduate of University of Missouri - St. Louis and Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin, Madison campus.
